Welcome to A Small Job LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the professional relationship between A Small Job LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking our services, approving an estimate, opting into our SMS program, or accessing ASmallJobLLC.com, you agree to the following terms.
A Small Job LLC specializes in residential remodeling and handyman services. The specific Scope of Work will be defined in your written estimate.
Virtual Quotes:
Estimates provided via our online photo or video submission tools are preliminary. We reserve the right to adjust pricing after an in-person inspection if actual site conditions differ from submitted media.
Add-Ons & Change Orders:
Any work requested outside the original written scope will be treated as a Change Order and billed at our standard hourly rate plus materials.
Estimate Validity:
Quotes are valid for 30 days due to material cost fluctuations.
Deposits:
A deposit is required for all projects exceeding $500 to secure labor dates and purchase materials.
Final Payment:
Payment is due immediately upon project completion.
Late Payments:
Balances unpaid after 7 days may incur a late fee of 5% or the maximum amount permitted under Connecticut law.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Site Readiness:
The Client must ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings, pets, and children. We are not responsible for moving heavy furniture unless explicitly stated in the estimate.
Utilities:
Client agrees to provide access to electricity and water for the duration of the project.
Workmanship Warranty:
We provide a one-year limited warranty on labor. If a repair fails due to our installation within 12 months, we will correct it at no labor cost.
Manufacturer Warranties:
Materials, fixtures, and appliances are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Natural Materials:
Wood, stone, and tile naturally vary. We are not responsible for variations in grain, color, minor cracking, or natural wear over time.
Compliance:
A Small Job LLC is fully licensed and insured in the State of Connecticut.
Pre-Existing Conditions:
We are not liable for damage caused by hidden or pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to mold, faulty wiring, plumbing issues, or structural defects discovered during work.
Permits:
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Client is responsible for obtaining required permits and paying all associated fees.
The Client grants A Small Job LLC permission to capture and use before-and-after photos or videos of the workspace for marketing, portfolio, website, and social media purposes. We will never disclose your full address or intentionally capture sensitive personal items.
By providing your phone number and opting in through our website forms, you agree to receive SMS messages from A Small Job LLC related to estimates, scheduling, project updates, and customer support.
Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message after unsubscribing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any legal disputes shall be handled exclusively within Hartford County, Connecticut.
